What the calculators give you

The results are yours to use for any purpose, including commercial use: in your own expense reports, payroll and client work. No credit is required. The rates themselves come from official sources listed on the Sources and dates page and the credits page, and those sources keep their own terms. You may not copy, resell, mirror or repackage the site itself, its code or its design as a competing tool or service, or use automated tools to copy the site in bulk or to overload it.

Not tax advice

DiemWise applies published rates and rules to the dates and choices you enter. It does not know your situation and is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Rates change every year (GSA on 1 October, the German allowances on 1 January) and a page shows a warning when its data has expired. Check anything important with a tax professional or the official source before you rely on it.

No warranty

We test the calculators against totals worked out by hand and against official examples, but mistakes can happen; check anything important before you rely on it. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
